Does ID Connect only work with municipalities?
ID Connect has developed the solution based on concrete needs in the Danish municipalities. These are typically based on thousands of employees and hundreds of systems. This has created a robust and scalable platform that fits particularly well in a municipality.
How is it possible to establish my own solution in just 4 weeks?
The solution is built as a Cloud solution that works together with your own local Microsoft Active Directory. Therefore, it is incredibly flexible to establish an encrypted connection that makes it possible to reuse your own users as well as exhibit your own IT systems.
How does this solution help me comply with GDPR?
The solution primarily helps with the chapters in ISO27001 that relate to access control. When access to IT systems is operated via ID Connect, there is real-time reporting on which users have access to which IT systems. At the same time, there is an audit trail of when the user has been granted access and who has granted the access.
It is a Cloud solution, how safe is it actually to use the solution?
All connections between ID Connect’s service and the customer’s solution are encrypted and thus cannot be read by others. The solution is located within the EU, in a highly secured data center that is monitored. An annual audit check of the processes in ID Connect is carried out to ensure that the rules are complied with in relation to the GDPR.
How do I ensure that new employees get a professional start?
In addition to the roles that are automatically assigned via the department, managers or appointed role assigners can assign additional roles to employees themselves via a self-service platform. There is a full audit log on the assignment of all roles.
